Beyond Blogging Basics

The more advanced version of “Blogging Basics”. We’ll cover things such as using WordPress to host your own blog, generating traffic, creating good content, and monetizing your blog. This course is designed for more advanced bloggers.

Blogging Basics

We’re teaching a class at the Lancaster Library System tomorrow.

Who should come? Anyone interested in learning the basics of blogging: How to choose a topic, where to run it, how to set up a blog account, and more.

Blogging has become a great way to let off steam, get an audience for your work and even profoundly impact the lives of others. With all the free and simple tools available, there’s no better time to get started. We’ll cover the basics of blogging: where and how to set up a blog, how to choose a topic, how to write compelling content, and more. This course is best suited for those with little or no blogging experience. CD of tools included. Limit is 15 people.

On June 4th from 6:30pm-8:30pm, Kiwi Marketing Group will be running the class Online Affiliate Marketing Mastery^TM in conjunction with the Library System of Lancaster County.

Unlike our previous classes, there are still spaces available. If you’re interested in learning how to promote affiliate offers and potentially earn additional income online, or, if you are a businesses interested in creating your own affiliate program to increase sales and revenues, we think that you’ll find this one useful.

What could be a better way to celebrate St. Pattie’s Day than to teach people how to make more green?

Because of the popularity of our “Blogging for Fun and Profit” and “60 Minute Web Magic^TM” classes that we teach at the Lancaster Public Library System, Kiwi Marketing Group has developed more offerings. We are proud to introduce our newest class: Online Affiliate Marketing Mastery^TM

In this two-hour class, we will be covering….well, the name really says it all, doesn’t it? Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing involves the online promotion of products or services from established companies wishing to sell anything from computer equipment to credit cards. The basic process is fairly painless. You sign up for an affiliate program, and are given specific links to send people to, which you publish and promote, say, on your blog. If someone clicks on your link and makes a purchase from the company it sends them to, you are paid a commission.

Sounds easy, right?

In fact, it can be. The affiliate marketing industry is set to top 3 billion dollars of revenue in 2009. People are making this work, making a good living from it. So join us as we explore the often lucrative world of Affiliate Marketing. We’ll cover the basics of promoting affiliate products, how to decide if they’re the right choice to increase the revenue of your business, how individuals could use affiliate marketing to earn a little extra income, and finally, whether creating an affiliate program for others to promote your product or service is the right choice for your business. Third Round of Classes Starting in April

The third round of “Blogging for Fun and Profit” and “60 Minute Web Magic^TM” classes taught by Kiwi Marketing Group through the Library System of Lancaster County will be starting in April. We’ve also added a class on Affiliate Marketing that we will be announcing soon.

Even though we moved to a larger venue, all classes in the second round were full and had waiting lists! So, be sure to sign up early when we announce class dates for April.

Kiwi Marketing Group to repeat popular "60 Minute Web Magic TM " and "Blogging for Fun and Profit" classes

After the success of our first “60 Minute Web Magic^TM” and “Blogging for Fun and Profit” classes with the Library System of Lancaster County, we have been asked to repeat both classes in February and March of 2009. Both classes were filled to capacity when they were offered in October and November of 2008 at the Lancaster Public Library. Because of this, the venue has been changed to the Lancaster Library System Office so that more people can attend and learn about the powerful and easy-to-use tools available to help them accomplish their online goals.
