In this two-hour class, we will be covering….well, the name really says it all, doesn’t it? Affiliate Marketing.
Affiliate Marketing involves the online promotion of products or services from established companies wishing to sell anything from computer equipment to credit cards. The basic process is fairly painless. You sign up for an affiliate program, and are given specific links to send people to, which you publish and promote, say, on your blog. If someone clicks on your link and makes a purchase from the company it sends them to, you are paid a commission.
Sounds easy, right?
In fact, it can be. The affiliate marketing industry is set to top 3 billion dollars of revenue in 2009. People are making this work, making a good living from it. So join us as we explore the often lucrative world of Affiliate Marketing. We’ll cover the basics of promoting affiliate products, how to decide if they’re the right choice to increase the revenue of your business, how individuals could use affiliate marketing to earn a little extra income, and finally, whether creating an affiliate program for others to promote your product or service is the right choice for your business.
